House rules
You rented a home with house rules agreed by all neighbours. Each guest booking or using the apartment, agrees to the following: 1) We do not have a reception. For this reason, ALL PEOPLE using or visiting the apartment HAVE TO REGISTER online BEFORE ENTERING THE HOUSE. If you are planning to stay with more people than booked for, please change the number of guests in your booking provider before registration (the price depends on the number of guests). For private bookings, the person that makes the booking, must also use the apartment. Free self-check-in from 8 for luggage room + 16:00 to 21:00 apartment, if the guests register online no later than 24 hours before arrival. Later registrations and arrivals after 21:00 are made by personal check-in (not free of charge). 2) For each person that enters the house without prior registration, the guest who booked will be charged for the whole booked period, no matter how long the unregistered person stayed. 3) ANY OTHER USAGE OF APARTMENT APART FROM SLEEPING, CLEANING, WASHING AND COOKING FOR THE REGISTERED GUESTS HAS TO BE APPROVED IN ADVANCE BY THE OWNER. For example: you need permission for workshops, meetings, photos and/or film/video shooting, cooking for business/presentations etc. No guest is entitled to any copyrights. 4) NO NOISY LIVING, ESPECIALLY BETWEEN 21:00 and 07:00 including balconies, inner yard, staircases. PARTIES OR EXTENSIVE USAGE OF ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR DRUNK GUESTS OR ANY DRUNK VISITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT OR ON HOUSE PREMISES! 5) absolutely no smoking inside as we host allergic guests! More than 2 smokers at the same time on the balcony can disturb the neighbours. Used cigarettes should be disposed in the sand bucket and not inside the apartment. 6) pets or other animals are not allowed (exemptions only by prior agreement - we host allergic guests). 7) NOT TO DISTURB THE NEIGHBORS BY SLAMMING DOORS, SUITCASES or RINGING AT DOORBELLS other than the number shown on the intercom handset in the apartment. 8) to allow our representatives to access the apartment at any reasonable time during your stay for the purpose of maintenance, repairs, etc. 9) to keep and leave the property in the same perfect condition as you received it on arrival (this is confirmed if not otherwise reported on the arrival of the first person). This is one of Berlins first organic home rentals started 2009 with sustainable, healthy space made of natural and organic surfaces that need to be cleaned immediately especially in case of any fluids, tea bags, any acids (ex. cola, lemon, mineral water with gas, wine), coloured gels, hair paint etc. 10) not to make or attempt to make any changes to a) security and lock systems, b) sensors, TV, Wi-Fi or HiFi cables. 11) to open the windows or balcony doors only if an adult is present and there is NO RAIN OR WIND. To pay for the usage of the washing machine and dryer. 12) apart from joining the single beds, NOT TO MOVE ANY FURNITURE. Some pieces are fixed at the walls for security reasons. By moving it, walls will get damaged. 13) FIREPLACE doors must be always fully closed, NO EXEMPTION, otherwise you put life at risk! 14) to act sustainable and dispose ALL WASTE as described online or in the file on the table. 15) GROUP BOOKINGS (more than one apartment), even if booked by different group members, are only valid by prior additional arrangements. 16) per each lost key a 125€ charge is accepted without any conditions. 17) do not use any items in the apartment where is not clear if this could cause damages. For example: not to use any stilettos shoes unless you know for sure that this will not damage the wooden floor or not to leave the wooden chairs on the balcony. 18) take all necessary steps to safeguard personal and apartments property. Use the safe for documents and values. Take them out one night before your departure. We are not liable in respect of damage or loss of such values or missed flights. 19) 2019 we became one of Berlins first smart home rentals. Apartment door is secured by a camera outside the apartment (arrow over the security sticker shows its position before you enter the apartment). For the smart heating, a healthy environment and parties protection there are 2 Netatmo sensors (living room, balcony) for temperature, CO2 indoor level, barometric pressure, noise level and humidity. Sorry, but if unplugged by guests, we will immediately have a personal party check at the apartment. 20) to pay the security deposit as described on the booking platform, otherwise each guest must be able to pay 200€ security deposit in cash. 22) the person that made the booking will provide everyone this house rules before they enter the house premises and is liable for any damage. 23) breaking the rule 1),2),3),4),6),10a),15) or 20) means that you and all of your members immediately cancelled the booking and the owner/manager has the right to stop the access to the property; same applies for any action caused by a guest that could damage the house, the owner, or the reputation of one of them or misbehaviour towards the owner/manager or a person or a company that represents them. In all this cases, the guest is not entitled to any refunds, security deposit included. 24) the place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Berlin, Germany.
